Apply computer information systems knowledge to the development of three tier software programs for the companyÕs monument industry customers. Responsible for coding, testing and maintaining StoneWorks Plus¨ software programs. Perform analysis of the business requirements of granite industry customers and provide programming assistance in the development and implementation of software programs responsive to these customersÕ needs. Use Visual Basic, VB Script, VBA, Active X, COM +, DCOM, MTS, XML, SQL Server, JavaScript and ASP software tools to accomplish programming and debugging tasks to implement customized software products. Enhance existing modules and implement new modules in three levels of COM components using Visual Basic Active X Code Component Templates. Diagnose and resolve production problems. Write SQL scripts to fix the loss or corruption of customer data. Generate reports and modify or fix reports using Crystal Reports 10.0/8.5. Compile all components and create server and client application package using MTS and Install Shield X Professional. Distribution of all updated network, database and report DLLS. Create database triggers, procedures, functions in SQLServer2000 and MS Access. Set up source code and maintain the VSS administration including user options, backups and restores of all projects. Work with customers to resolve problems when installing SW+ product on server and work stations and client work stations.
Requirements: At least a BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics or a related field. At least three years of Visual Basic programming experience including two years using VBA, ASP and SQL Server, and 6 months using Crystal Reports.
